The History of La Ferme des Aigles
La Ferme des Aigles has been home to two of the most renowned trainers in recent years: Maurice Zilber (Derby winner Empery and those globetrotting mares Dahlia and Trillion among them) and John Hammond, who trained the great Montjeu to win the Prix du Jockey Club, the Arc de Triomphe and the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Ascot. Montjeu has been the only French-trained horse to achieve this feat in living memory. Hammond has also trained G1 winners in France, England, Ireland, America, Canada and Hong Kong.

The Principal House
The principal house of La Ferme des Aigles consists of 15 rooms totalling approximately 423.70 m2 and 165 m2 of sumptuous entertaining space. On the ground floor, a hall gives access to the reception rooms on one side, and a library opens on to a billiard room, dining room and kitchen.
